New drug trial targets debilitating fatigue in IBD patients

Summary
This study is testing an investigational drug called DISC-0974 for people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) who also have anemia, a common condition causing fatigue and weakness. The trial will enroll 21 participants to compare the drug against a placebo, measuring changes in hemoglobin levels and monitoring safety over 85 days. The goal is to see if DISC-0974 can safely improve anemia symptoms in IBD patients who continue their standard IBD treatments.
