First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at how well children aged 18-36 months with a gut condition called Environmental Enteric Dysfunction (EED) absorb essential amino acids from food. Researchers will give the children special labeled proteins and measure them in blood and urine to see if supplements can improve absorption. The goal is to understand the problem better and find ways to help these children grow and develop properly.
