First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This early-phase study tested a new approach for children with neuroblastoma that did not respond to standard treatments. It used two doses of a radioactive drug (I-MIBG) to target cancer cells, followed by a stem cell transplant to restore healthy blood cells. The goal was to find the safest highest dose and see if it could control the disease.
