NCT ID NCT03537079
First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026
Summary
This study looked at whether adding low-oxygen (hypoxic) conditioning to exercise training can improve exercise ability and quality of life in people with stable heart failure. The trial planned to enroll 14 adults with mild-to-moderate heart failure and reduced pumping function. Participants would have done supervised exercise while breathing air with less oxygen, and their exercise capacity, heart function, and blood vessel health would have been measured. The study was terminated early, so results are limited.
