First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether a combination of two thyroid medications (levothyroxine and liothyronine) works better than the standard single drug for people with hypothyroidism. The goal is to see if the combo can improve cholesterol levels and quality of life. Researchers will enroll 90 adults who already take levothyroxine and compare three different dose regimens over several months.
