NCT ID NCT06449924

First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looked at a different way to help children breathe during surgery. Instead of placing the breathing tube all the way into the windpipe, doctors placed it just above the vocal cords. The goal was to see if this method is easy, safe, and works well. The study included 85 children aged 1 month to 6 years undergoing planned surgery.
