First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looked at how having low blood sugar affects the body's automatic control of the heart and blood vessels. Researchers tested 28 healthy adults to see if a drug called spironolactone could block these effects. The goal was to better understand the risks of low blood sugar, not to treat a disease.
