First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests a shorter course of high-dose radiation (hypofractionated radiotherapy) for people with soft tissue sarcoma that cannot be removed by surgery. The goal is to see if this approach can control the tumor for at least two years while causing fewer side effects to nearby healthy tissues. About 48 adults with biopsy-confirmed sarcoma are taking part, and they will be followed for up to five years.
