NCT ID NCT07254299
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests whether hypnosis sessions after leaving the ICU can improve wellbeing and prevent post-intensive care syndrome. About 150 adults who were on a breathing machine for at least 2 days will receive either standard care or standard care plus hypnosis at discharge and again at 7 and 14 days if still in the hospital. The goal is to see if hypnosis helps them feel better 28 days later.
