First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at whether hyperbaric oxygen therapy (breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber) could help children aged 8-15 who have ongoing symptoms like headaches or memory problems after a mild concussion. The goal was to improve thinking and reduce symptoms, but the study was stopped early. It included 52 children with a mild brain injury that happened 6 months to 3 years earlier.
