AI-Powered ultrasound aims to speed up stroke diagnosis
NCT ID NCT07319013
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at whether combining ultrasound with artificial intelligence can help doctors quickly identify bleeding strokes. About 500 adults with stroke symptoms will get a non-invasive ultrasound scan within 48 hours. Researchers will compare the AI's reading of the ultrasound to the standard CT scan to see if it can accurately tell a bleeding stroke from a non-bleeding one. The goal is to gather information, not to test a new treatment.
