First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests whether rinsing with hydrogen water can reduce pain, mouth sores, and inflammation in 36 adults recovering from oral cancer surgery with free flap reconstruction. Participants will use hydrogen water mouth care for 7 days after surgery, and researchers will measure changes in saliva markers of inflammation and mouth soreness. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to improve recovery and comfort after this major surgery.
