New gel injection trial offers hope for aching knees

NCT ID NCT07489521

Summary

This study is testing whether a new gel injection called Arthrosamid works better than the standard steroid injection for managing knee osteoarthritis pain. About 200 adults with moderate-to-severe knee arthritis will receive one injection of either the new gel or the standard treatment. Researchers will follow participants for 18 months to see which treatment better reduces pain and improves knee function.
