Sticky gel aims to catch hidden kidney stone bits
NCT ID NCT06469736
Summary
This study is testing if adding a special, sticky hydrogel to a standard kidney stone surgery helps doctors remove more stone fragments. The goal is to leave fewer tiny pieces behind, which could lower the chance of stones growing back. Researchers will compare the standard surgery to the same surgery plus the gel in 120 patients.
