New gel protects rectum during prostate cancer treatment

Summary
This study is testing a new gel called SpaceIT that is placed between the prostate and rectum before radiation therapy for prostate cancer. The goal is to see if this gel safely creates space to protect the rectum from radiation damage, potentially reducing side effects. It is being compared to an existing, similar gel product to see if it works as well or better.
