Smart insulin pumps could ease daily diabetes burden

Summary
This study looks at how well automated insulin pumps (hybrid closed-loop systems) work for people with type 1 diabetes in real life. About 1,600 participants, including young children aged 2-6, will use these pumps for 24 months. The goal is to see if they help keep blood sugar in a healthy range and improve quality of life for patients and their partners.
