Summary
This study tested whether adding hyaluronic acid to a standard chlorhexidine mouthwash helps treat gingivitis (early gum disease). Sixteen adults with gingivitis used two different mouthwashes after a professional teeth cleaning. Researchers measured gum bleeding and plaque buildup to see which mouthwash worked better.
