First human test of brain scan to track Huntington's disease protein
NCT ID NCT06634628
Summary
This study is testing a new brain imaging tracer to see if it can measure the harmful mutant huntingtin protein that builds up in the brains of people with Huntington's disease. Researchers will use PET scans to compare 27 participants, including healthy volunteers and people at different stages of Huntington's. The goal is to develop a tool that could help measure disease progression and test future treatments.
