Tiny Heart-Lung drug trial halted after just 4 patients
NCT ID NCT06581159
Summary
This early study tested an experimental drug called HS135 in obese patients with two related conditions: heart failure where the heart pumps normally but doesn't fill properly, and high blood pressure in the lungs. Only 4 people were enrolled before the study was stopped. The main goal was to check the drug's safety and how it moves through the body, not to prove it works.
