First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests whether a 5-week heart rate variability biofeedback program can reduce stress and anxiety in 50 dental students moving from classroom to clinic. Participants practice slow breathing while recalling a positive memory, guided by a device that gives real-time feedback. The goal is to see if this simple technique helps students feel calmer during a challenging time.
