Scientists test new weight Drug's safety with painkillers and heart meds

NCT ID NCT07269756

Summary

This early-stage study aims to understand how a new investigational drug for weight management, called HRS-7535, interacts with four common medications: acetaminophen (pain/fever), digoxin (heart), rosuvastatin (cholesterol), and omeprazole (heartburn). It will enroll 40 overweight or obese adults. The main goal is to see if taking HRS-7535 changes how the body processes these other drugs, which is a key safety step before larger trials.
