Can one shot shield HIV-Positive women from HPV?
NCT ID NCT06436274
Summary
This study is testing whether a single dose of the HPV vaccine can prevent new HPV infections in women who are living with HIV and have already received HPV vaccination in the past. Researchers are comparing giving the HPV vaccine immediately versus after an 18-month delay in 778 participants. The goal is to see if this simpler, one-dose schedule provides effective protection for this group.
