Summary

This study is comparing two standard treatments for early-stage throat cancer caused by HPV: surgery and radiation therapy. The goal is to see which approach gives patients the best chance of survival while also preserving their quality of life, like swallowing and speaking. It will help doctors choose the best treatment for future patients.
