Summary
This study is testing whether doctors can safely lower radiation doses for people with HPV-positive throat cancer to reduce side effects while still keeping the cancer under control. It will enroll 132 adults who are having either surgery followed by radiation or radiation as their first treatment. The research will use a special blood test to help decide which patients might be good candidates for receiving less radiation to the tumor or nearby lymph nodes.
