First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested simple toolkits to encourage women living with HIV in Ghana to collect their own samples for HPV testing, which can help prevent cervical cancer. About 108 women took part, and the researchers checked if they completed and returned the self-sampling kit or got a Pap test within 6 weeks. The goal was to see if these toolkits make screening easier and more accessible.
