Yale tests drug combo for rare, recurring throat and lung growths
NCT ID NCT04645602
Summary
This early-phase study is testing whether a combination of two existing cancer drugs can help control a rare condition where HPV causes recurring wart-like growths in the airways and lungs. The trial will enroll about 20 adults to see if the drugs are safe and can shrink the growths or reduce the need for frequent surgeries. Researchers will monitor participants closely with scans and exams to check for any side effects and see if the treatment is working.
