First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a simple blood test that detects HPV DNA can find returning oropharynx cancer earlier than current methods like scans. Researchers will follow 200 patients who have finished treatment for HPV-positive oropharynx cancer. The goal is to see how accurate the blood test is at spotting cancer that has come back.
