Pee and blood tests may spot cervical cancer without a biopsy
NCT ID NCT04743674
First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026
Summary
This study is testing whether HPV DNA found in blood and urine can be used to detect cervical cancer and track how well treatment is working. Researchers will collect samples from 30 women newly diagnosed with cervical cancer before and after their treatment. The goal is to see if these non-invasive tests could replace some tissue biopsies and imaging scans.
