Scientists test 12 brain training methods on over 1,000 people
NCT ID NCT05894967
Summary
This research study aims to understand how different types of visual practice or 'training' can improve how people see and process information. It will enroll about 1,140 healthy adults, split between younger (18-30) and older (60-85) age groups, to test which of 12 different computer-based training methods works best. The goal is to gather reliable data on how practice leads to learning that can be applied to new tasks, which could inform future approaches for cognitive training or rehabilitation.
