Brain scans reveal: do walnuts or pretzels curb cravings better?

NCT ID NCT07428187

Summary

This study aims to understand how eating different daily snacks (walnuts or pretzels) affects brain activity related to food and feelings of fullness during a 12-week weight-loss program. Researchers will use brain scans and questionnaires to measure changes in cravings, appetite, and body composition in 70 adults who are overweight or have obesity. The goal is to gather knowledge about how snack choices might influence dieting success, not to test a treatment.
