Your genes & gender may change how your body uses fish oil
NCT ID NCT06975241
Summary
This study aims to understand how the body processes a common omega-3 supplement (EPA). Researchers want to see if biological sex and a person's specific genetics affect how fast the body converts EPA into another important omega-3 called DHA. Healthy participants will take EPA supplements for 12 weeks and provide blood samples to track these changes.
