Summary
This University of California, Davis study aims to understand how people's expectations about treatment affect their mood, motivation, and reactions to rewards. Healthy participants aged 15-25 will receive a fake version of brain stimulation treatment (no actual stimulation) over five days. Researchers will measure how participants' beliefs change and whether these expectations influence their mood, pleasure experiences, and cravings.
