Summary

This study aims to understand why some older adults benefit more from strength training than others. Researchers will measure how 300 sedentary adults aged 65+ respond to a supervised weightlifting program. The goal is to identify biological factors that explain differences in improvements to mobility, muscle strength, and blood sugar control.
