Scientists probe link between gut bacteria and overtraining in cyclists
NCT ID NCT07481578
Summary
This study aims to understand how different amounts of cycling training affect gut bacteria and overall health. Researchers will compare 45 healthy, active men who either do no training, moderate cycling, or high-load cycling for eight weeks. They will measure changes in gut health, fitness, muscle condition, and signs of doing too much exercise to see how these factors are connected.
