Your genes may decide how your body uses fish oil
NCT ID NCT06975241
Summary
This study aims to understand how the body processes an omega-3 supplement called EPA, turning it into another important fat called DHA. Researchers want to see if a person's biological sex or specific genes affect how quickly this conversion happens. Healthy participants will take EPA supplements for 12 weeks and have their blood tested regularly to track these changes.
