NCT ID NCT05666726

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at how negative feelings like stress, pain, or hunger change the way people make decisions. Healthy adults aged 18 to 55 will experience different emotional triggers (like watching a sad video or putting a hand in ice water) and then perform computer tasks. Some will also have brain scans. The goal is to understand the link between emotions and decision-making, which could help identify and treat mental health conditions.
