Summary
This study looked at how sore calf muscles (DOMS) affect other muscles in the back and legs. Fourteen healthy young adults did calf exercises to create soreness, then had their muscle stiffness, strength, balance, and trunk endurance tested over three days. The goal was to understand how one sore muscle can change the way your whole body moves and recovers.
