Landmark study charts how aging alters arthritis experience
NCT ID NCT05463666
Summary
This study aims to understand how normal aging affects the way doctors measure disease activity, thinking skills, and physical ability in people with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Researchers are comparing 420 RA patients with 420 people without RA, all aged 55-85, to create age-specific reference charts. These charts will help doctors better interpret test results by showing what changes are due to normal aging versus the disease itself.
