Summary
This study aims to understand how the sleep deprivation from 24-hour hospital shifts affects the immune systems of surgery residents. Researchers will recruit 60 healthy residents to measure changes in their immune cells and inflammation before and after their long shifts. The goal is to gather knowledge about the health impacts of demanding work schedules on medical professionals.
