Hot water foot soak tested as Drug-Free pain relief after surgery
NCT ID NCT07126223
Summary
This study is testing if a simple, warm foot bath can help people feel better after having their gallbladder removed through keyhole surgery. Researchers want to see if soaking the feet for 20 minutes can reduce pain and help the digestive system 'wake up' faster after the operation. About 62 adults having planned surgery will be randomly assigned to either get the foot bath or receive standard care to compare the results.
