This study compares two support programs for family and friends caring for Veterans with dementia after a hospital stay. One program, Hospital GamePlan4Care, offers a handbook, online training, and phone coaching tailored to the caregiver. The other provides general education and resources. The goal is to see which program better reduces caregiver burden and improves well-being. About 50 caregivers from the Houston VA will participate for at least three months.
