New drug tested to stop hospital flu outbreaks

Summary
This study aims to prevent flu from spreading between patients sharing a hospital room. Researchers will test if taking antiviral drugs (suraxavir marboxil or oseltamivir) can protect uninfected roommates from catching the flu from their roommate who has it. The study will enroll 384 hospitalized patients to compare these drugs against a placebo.
