Summary
This large study is testing whether a hospital-wide quality improvement program can help prevent dangerous blood clots in patients during and after their hospital stay. It will involve 5,800 patients across multiple hospitals in China. Some hospitals will use the new program, which includes risk assessments and alerts, while others will continue with their usual care to see which approach works better.
