Summary
This study aims to understand how gender identity and hormone levels influence pain sensitivity. Researchers will recruit 120 cisgender and transgender adults to complete pain sensitivity tests, blood draws for hormone analysis, and questionnaires about quality of life and social factors. The goal is to gather knowledge about pain perception across different gender groups, not to provide treatment.
