Can hormone patches tame monthly mood plunge?

Summary
This study aims to see if using hormone patches and pills can help women whose depression gets worse before their period. Researchers will test if stabilizing hormone levels during this time improves mood and the brain's ability to feel pleasure. About 75 women will try the hormone treatment and a placebo in different cycles while tracking their symptoms and doing brain activity tests.
