New implant could ease menopause misery
NCT ID NCT06343870
Summary
This study is testing a small, dissolvable hormone implant placed under the skin to relieve common symptoms of menopause, such as hot flashes and sexual discomfort. It will involve 140 women who are experiencing menopause naturally, prematurely, or due to surgery for cervical cancer. Researchers will track how the body absorbs the hormones and measure changes in symptoms, quality of life, and sexual function over six months.
