Can women remove bladder test leads at home? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT05799313
First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether women with overactive bladder can safely and comfortably remove a temporary nerve testing lead at home instead of coming back to the doctor's office. About 30 women will be randomly assigned to remove the lead themselves at home or have it removed in the office. The goal is to see if at-home removal is just as satisfying and convenient.
