Surgery recovery moves home: study tests if It's just as safe
NCT ID NCT05259111
Summary
This study tested whether adults could safely recover at home immediately after weight loss surgery, instead of staying in the hospital. Researchers compared two groups of patients to see if home recovery was just as good as hospital care. They looked at how long patients were hospitalized, how much they moved, and how much pain medication they needed.
