Could a simple home visit save Seniors' teeth and health?
NCT ID NCT05335239
Summary
This study tested whether sending a dental professional to clean the teeth of older adults at home every three months could prevent painful root cavities. It involved 194 home-living seniors who needed help with daily care. The goal was to see if this regular cleaning, combined with using a special high-fluoride toothpaste, was better than usual care at keeping their mouths healthy.
