First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a home rehabilitation program, with daily activity tasks and heart rate monitoring sent by email or text, could improve recovery in people who had a pulmonary embolism (a blood clot in the lung). 32 adults who recently left the hospital took part. The goal was to see if this approach helped them get more active and feel better compared to standard care.
